Well if you haven't guessed by now we have changed the GATE
Post to a monthly newsletter instead of weekly for many reasons, not the least of which is that we have are working very hard on the Village. “Build it and they will come” If only it were that easy... We're rolling up the sleeves because now the real work begins.

GATE Village V1 (https://www.gatevillage.net) Although long-time readers of the GATEPost will know that we have already officially launched the site, we have been continuing to expand the functionality of the Village. If you haven't been on in a while, or indeed if as is more likely you haven't yet logged on, you should really check it out now because it has drastically changed.
GATE House

As of May 15th or so, we have taken possession of the entire GATE House but still haven't gotten around to stretching out, we've been too busy working on the GATE Village and it's vast improvements (and waiting on the new network switches which arrived today to Dave's glee – I'll never quite understand IT guys).

You never stop learning. This is the one thing about this job that I am beginning to appreciate more and more. In order to grow we must be challenged. When you work with extremely intelligent people it's a challenge in itself just to keep up. I have had the opportunity to work with a few individuals like this in my lifetime and it never ceases to amaze me the degree of multi-tasking they accomplish within their own mind and the results from it. With the bulk of everything coming together we can concentrate a little more on promoting the Village. It gives us great confidence that what we have created really is what people are looking for in this troubled economy. For instance Matthew had contact with an email to an individual on a Wednesday morning, he was asked to go to lunch that afternoon. Obviously this person got the message because Friday morning he was calling back with more contacts.
