- A couple of weeks of minimal growth in gerth, Lucy remains about 52 pounds (though it is definitely getting more difficult to weigh her
- People are already pointing out how well behaved Lucy is when they meet her
- Lucy was given a 'stay out of trouble' test, we had to leave the dogs alone in the house for an extended period; we shut the door to them downstairs after a bit of puppy proofing (removal of visible electirc wires, shutting of bedroom and other doors, etc) and gave them free reign down there. The other two might have found it a bit confining, they likely can't remember when they didn't have free reign around the house, but it was the first taste of freedom for Lucy. We were longer than we should have been and she couldn't hold her bladder, also she found the toilet paper irresistable, but we were pretty pleased and I'd give her a 'D' overall (and as my children constantly remind me, a "D" is a pass).
- We diecided to bribe Lucy a bit and gave her small treats while she ran on the treadmill...once...now she pushes Oakley off in mid run so she can get some of them goodies :-)
- Lucy has run from the house twice now, just to explore and not very far but against rules just the same, there is clearly some more work to do.
