I've made some very good progress on
the design of GATE
Village, fleshing out the general architecture and
about 90% of the database structure. The details are not only
uninteresting but they are also Intellectual Property of GATE
and so
to no one's surprise, I'll refrain from exposing them here but I will
say that the design principles include: confidentiality of data,
integrity of data, and non-repudiation (this means that Members won't
be able to deny that they performed the transactions, the audit log
of the transactions will prove otherwise). All boring but necessary
stuff to ensure the integrity of GATE
Village.
