Some exciting developments
with GATE
Village design and understanding this week:
“Leads” … it is clear that sales people understand the term “Lead” well, it is not so clear that others do. The “Lead Auction” does not have the right name yet and we are bandying about some alternatives – “Opportunities” is the closest thing we've found so far, it is descriptively fine but something still seems wrong about it. It doesn't quite make it clear that winning the “Opportunity Auction” does not in and of itself mean you've won business … a “Lead Auction” does (to those familiar with the term).
We've introduced the concept of a GATE
Service Score
– while the name may change, the idea is that the clients of the
Opportunity Auction will be asked to rate the service they were
provided by the final winner of the auction (the one they choose to
do business with). This is the competency score that many folks want
the GATE
Trust Score to be.
On the Membership Recruitment Front we have further developed the Membership Recruitment and Investment Program (MRIP) – we have worked out the sales commission structure borrowing the tools of the Multi-Level Marketing world. Next week I'll share the sales collateral I'm developing that explains how the commission structure works and what measures we are putting in to protect the membership QUALITY while the program ramps up. In other words, MLM isn't inherently evil but it has pitfalls that need to be avoided.
