(Employee Recruitment) – I've interviewed a few folks and I believe I am quite close to hiring an Office Manager – that will take a lot of the pressure off as the minutia of running the business can be handled leaving me time to complete the many different writings required.

I also met with a very interesting man yesterday, his name is Gary and he was sent to me from a recruiter friend of mine with a “you two should meet”. The interview was intended to be about 1 hour, but after 2.5 hours of some very pleasant conversation with a very interesting man, I had to kick him out of the office so that I could actually get some work done! I'm not at all sure whether or how Gary will be involved in GATE, we both need to take a few days to digest that meeting, but it is certainly a meeting I'll not forget anytime soon.

I also met with a former colleague who has his own business in KW that has a lot of synergy with GATE. This is another relationship that I'm unclear exactly where it will lead, but there is something that feels right and I think I'll continue to pursue the relationship and see where it leads.
