GATE Village is a business to business community. All activities, features and functions within GATE Village are tuned to help increase business. That is no less true for the Vendor Directory.

The idea of the Vendor Directory is to offer a place for companies to advertise their intention to increase their business through one or more new sales channels. These range from OEM integrations to joint ventures; from classic reselling to finders' fees.

Vendors know that Experts' leads are more likely to sales than average folks. People listen and trust experts.

Experts know that their reputation is on the line every time they do offer a recommendation and so would often rather pass up the opportuntiy if there is nobody they trust.

As GATE Trusted Vendors are subject to the GATE Trust System, they too have a Trust Score that can be used to evaluate other Members' experience with any Trusted Vendor.

Vendors can list any and all GATE Members they have a relationship with (with appropriate permission of course) allowing Trusted Entrepreneurs to see other members who have worked with this Vendor before.
