Trusted Recruitment and Investment Program
The GATE
Membership is everything! without both volume
and quality as key components to the membership, GATE
Village is little more than an idea. Volume is important to the
ability to market ... the approach to marketing is to utilize today's
increasingly able Internet advertising techniques to ensure that GATE
Village is known, “Thousands of Trusted Experts” has
general appeal, “hundreds” less so. Volume alone,
however, is not sufficient, quality is essential – there must
BE experts, not just expert-wannabes; there is room for less skilled
and/or less experienced members as well, though, not every job
requires an Expert – TRUST is not about skill, it is about
representing one's skills honestly and straight-forwardly. All GATE
Members must agree to read and follow the GATE
Trust Policy but there is no special certifications available to
declare one as an expert except one's word and GATE
does not have any
tool to measure one's general expertise.
This, then, is the thinking and the goal behind the TRIP – Volume and Quality.
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
There is a well known and sometimes controversial form of selling called various things but a good description is “Multi-Level Marketing”. This is where the sales commission is spread out amongst levels of salespeople rather than on a one-to-one basis. That is, the commission paid on a “sale” is shared with the seller, the sellers' 'boss', that bosses' boss, and so on up the line. Thus, the incentive isn't just to form a new “sale” but also to form a business of sellers as can be lucrative if others do the work of selling for you. There is nothing inherently wrong with this model, sales commissions are paid out in various ways to various people and there is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing that commission in various ways as an incentive to get the sort of sales wanted. The problem with most MLM programs is that they purport to be something they are not.
Trust, honesty and transparency – things that are often missing from MLM programs. They claim to sell the best soap or engine oil treatments or any number of over-priced and over-hyped products but what they are really selling is the business of creating a sales force who will provide a bit of their commission up the line as long as everybody meets their “minimum sales quota” which is the same for everybody but for the leafs of the sales tree, it is an expense that usually far exceeds their sales ability whereas for the root of a tree it is product likely thrown away...through the power of exponential mathematics, there is much more money available by building the sales force then selling the product. These programs die because they do not really have value to offer the people involved, only a way to get more suckers (err people) involved. FROM THE VERY START, those that create such systems know that they and a very small number of their friends are the only people that will make real money, most others will end up losing, often to the tune of thousands of dollars.
The TRIP at first
glance might appear as a classic MLM program, and as it borrows
concepts from those programs, that isn't surprising. However, the
TRIP is a GATE
program and
is therefore run in a transparent and open fashion, it has clearly
defined and understandable goals, limits, and objectives that all
involved will understand. First and foremost, the goal of the TRIP is
to create both VOLUME and QUALITY members and the TRIP will be
suspended or canceled altogether if and when the Board of Directors
determines that the goals of the program are not being met.
The TRIP does not constitutionally exist and may be terminated
without notice.
HOW TRIP IS DIFFERENT FROM CLASSIC MLM
To be legal, all MLM schemes must actually have something tangible to sell to differentiate themselves from illegal pyramid schemes. However, there is no law saying that prices have to be competitive ... products are often overpriced from similar products available in standard commercial fashion because the commission payout is very large (often as much as 45% of the price of the products). People have a right to buy expensive soap, they may well believe it is better than all other soap, but it is quite rare that MLM products are truly unique in their abilities.
GATE
Village is valuable and worthy of the price of admission! Any
Trusted Entrepreneur arriving because of TRIP member recruitment
will be rewarded with Value,
Prestige, and Business opportunities.
GATE
Village membership sign-up procedure ensures that all all
prospective Trusted Entrepreneurs are fully aware of the benefits
of GATE
Village and GATE
Member Services will ensure they will be able to realize those
benefits when they want/need to.
MLM schemes are looking for long-term, recurring revenue – they offer the entrepreneur the promise of an ever-growing monthly income. To achieve this the programs require product to sell and so they make it a requirement that all so-called “distributors” must themselves sell something every month – they even make it easy with “autoship” programs that automatically ship just enough product every month to make your “quota”. The sales of all this, of course, have commission applied and those at the top of the pyramid simply throw their autoship product away and collect the commission on all the others autoship product. It is often one step away from a scam and most often prospective distributors are not really aware of how the scheme is going to take them for money.
TRIP commissions are one-time, they are not based upon the monthly access fees, rather they are a straight 30% of the full-price Trusted Entrepreneur Initiation fee, or $750 and there is no recurring component. While the monthly access fees are arguably similar to 'autoship', none of that revenue is used in calculating commissions.
The people at the top win, everybody else loses, those that create it are the main beneficiaries of most MLM programs (that is often why they are created), the financial structure favours the people who start the network and that is always the people who start the MLM.
GATE
pays out commission on Trusted Entrepreneur recruitment to the tune
of $750/recruit but GATE
TRIP is limited to GATE
Trusted Entrepreneurs and GATE
Employees and their immediate families are forbidden from being
GATE
Members and thus cannot participate in the TRIP. While GATE
benefits financially from the recruitment efforts, it uses those
finances to service the membership – fees for service,
nothing wrong with that.It is quite possible for very large networks to form and that people forming the top of these networks will make significant monies forming this network, and while there is no theoretical limit to membership volume and thus every member has the theoretical potential of creating themselves a sales network, that is not the way of the world. While it is difficult to guess how large the market truly is, it is contained to those people who understand the investment. And recruitment, like any other skill, does not come naturally to everybody while it is second nature to others. GATE
offers absolutely no guarantee nor does GATE
intend to offer any expectation of making any money via TRIP once
becoming a Trusted Entrepreneur – become a GATE
Village Trusted Entrepreneur for the value,
prestige, and business
opportunities we provide.While GATE
will not abide dishonesty in the process, we accept that there will
be some people who wish to make a living off of recruitment of GATE
Trusted Entrepreneurs and that at least some of the people
recruited will aspire to be as successful at TRIP as the person /
network that recruited them (or perhaps more successful). We expect
all recruitment to be focused around the benefits of GATE
Village, all members should feel that they benefit from being a
member apart from the potential financial benefits of TRIP.
