GATE Village wants Trusted Experts and Entrepreneurs and is willing to pay a hefty sales commission paid out using a multi-level marketing approach because GATE Village needs both Membership Volume and Membership Quality – MLM is an expertise, but not one that has mass marketability – in other words, if GATE Village becomes a MLM scheme it will quickly fizzle and die because few people want to hire MLM experts.

However, there is nothing wrong with a multi-level payout scheme nor is there anything wrong with sales networks, the problems come in when the sales network itself is the only product to sell. The Global Alliance of Trusted Experts puts various barriers in place that each prospective TRIP Recruit must navigate and learn about GATE Village before they can become a member themselves. This is to ensure that all prospective members are given the full GATE Village story and agree to all the Policies, Rules, and other legalities involved.

These rules are simply intended to ensure that the above, GATE does not wish to presuppose what an Expert might be only that all Members are aware that it is Trusted Experts and Entrepreneurs that GATE values, it does not exist simply as another MLM scheme.

1. Any GATE Trusted Entrepreneur in Good Standing may recruit and receive any and all commissions coming from the network of Trusted Entrepreneurs that arise from that recruitment effort

2. GATE Members are not required to recruit nor are they necessarily expected to, this is entirely voluntary; GATE Village provides value without the TRIP (see GATE Member Services, GATE Opportunity Knocks auction, GATEd Community, GATE Member Directory and GATE Vendor Directory for details on the value GATE brings). The Trusted Recruitment and Investment Program exists to get both Volume and Quality of both Trusted Experts and Trusted Entrepreneurs in the membership Expert Services,

   1. IF and when it is determined by the GATE Board that the TRIP itself is harming GATE Board and GATE Management believe strongly in GATE Village's environment of trust, and the GATE Trust System to allow a better way to do business (The GATE Way to Success! Of course) Village, the program will cease ... the

   2. SPECIFICALLY, GATE Village is not intended as a Multi-Level Marketing machine, it offers no recurring revenue stream and while the TRIP commission structure may well make one or two people millionaires (there is no restriction in place to stop that from happening), it is not the intent of GATE Village.

3. GATE Employees, Officers, and Directors and their immediate family members (spouses/partners, siblings, children, parents) are forbidden from being GATE Members and are therefore forbidden from participating in TRIP.

4. TRIP only pays commission on GATE Trusted Entrepreneurs in Good Standing who have also pre-paid a minimum of 12 months of access fees (there are discounts available for 1-, 2- and 3-year terms)

5. After the signup procedure is complete and all financial transactions have cleared, there is a mandatory cool-off period of 24 hours to allow sober second thought – GATE Members are in a read-only mode within GATE Village until the 24 hours has expired; they are not yet GATE Trusted Entrepreneurs in Good Standing and so not (yet) eligible for TRIP participation.

   1. This is done to avoid “signup parties” that smell like pyramid schemes ... where smooth-talking or smooth-whiskey do some thinking for you; Signup parties are good, GATE Village is good and we are happy to have new Members that understand the value of the GATE Way to Success! Trust System and the

   2. We are also happy to have a few Trusted Entrepreneurs who are also Trusted Experts at Multi-Level Marketing and/or sales in general – it is a valued and valuable expertise and nothing to be ashamed of. GATE is about Trust – declare yourself appropriately.

6. All TRIP recruitment must be done with an open and honest approach; all potential recruiters must ensure the people they recruit are fully aware of these TRIP Rules and Eligibility Requirements before they sign up

7. GATE TRIP-recruited Members must perform a GATE Trust Rating of the recruitment transaction – for both GATE Village (and GATE Management) and the GATE Member that recruited them before the signup procedure is considered complete.

   1. GATE TRIP-recruited Members are expected to review the GATE Profile of the Member that recruited them before rating.

8. GATE Members whose potential recruited Member rates them as “Untrustworthy” will immediately be subject to a GATE Trust Investigation and if the rating stands, the Member will have their membership terminated and any pending commissions forfeited.

9. A rating of “Untrustworthy” is the most serious offence possible within GATE Village and it will always cause a GATE Trust Investigation, any Member found making false accusations will be in Breach of Trust and will have their membership terminated and any pending commissions forfeited.
